Nevin King

Product Design Strategist & UX Research Leader

I help teams build clarity, confidence, and user-centered outcomes through research-informed design.

About Me

I'm a strategic UX Research and Product Design leader with nearly 20 years of experience guiding design and insight efforts across fintech, SaaS, and complex enterprise platforms. I specialize in embedding research into product strategy, aligning cross-functional teams, and shaping systems that make products feel intuitive, even when the problems are anything but.

My work blends design thinking, deep collaboration, and hands-on research execution. I've built and led UX research teams, reimagined legacy tools for modern users, and helped products evolve with speed and purpose while maintaining trust and usability.

What You Won't See (and Why)

I know portfolios often showcase polished UI mockups and high-fidelity visuals. In my case, most of my work has been done within long-term, proprietary platforms. These are the kinds of systems that support complex workflows and real business impact, but they don't lend themselves to public screenshots.

Rather than sharing redacted visuals stripped of context, I've focused this portfolio on what matters: the process, decisions, collaboration, and outcomes that define how I work. If you'd like to talk through specific approaches or artifacts, I'm always happy to walk through those in a conversation.
